A key component of the system is the close integration of hardware and software.

The controllers manage the plants and simultaneously collect the relevant process data. This data is continuously transferred to the control system and processed there.

The underlying system configuration describes the entire plant and remains consistent across all levels. It is stored in both the controller and the control system. This allows the plant’s state to be quickly restored even after a failure.

Control, data acquisition, and system description are interlinked and form a common foundation for operation.

Despite its technical depth, the system remains user-friendly in day-to-day operations. Process flows can be customized via structured interfaces without the need for traditional PLC programming. Symbolic programming makes it possible to define and adjust processes directly within the system. This allows even complex processes to be implemented without specialized IT or PLC expertise.

 

Process Data and Documentation During Operation

Data is generated directly within the process and recorded continuously. This includes, for example, temperature profiles, batch information, energy consumption, and operator interventions.

Since all systems operate on a common platform, this information is not available in isolation but is directly linked to the respective process. It can be used for evaluations, quality documentation, or audits without any additional manual effort.

Documentation is generated automatically during operation and is available at any time for analysis, quality verification, or audits.
