In-process controlling

A consistent, well-developed process can help ensure that finished products conform to their specifications. This kind of process cannot be evaluated only once it is completed, but rather while it is running for the purpose of early error detection. To do so, criteria are defined to describe whether the process is running correctly. During the production process, previously defined measures and measured values are logged and evaluated. This allows for monitoring and documentation of product quality during the process itself.
